WIREHAND WIRELESS OUTAGE DUE TO HURRICANE BERYL

UPDATE (7/15/24 @ 11:40 a.m.): Wirehand technicians were able to access the Hillje tower location this morning, and it has been restored. Your Wirehand equipment should automatically reconnect. If your Wirehand connection is still down after power cycling your equipment, please submit an Internet Support ticket at MyWCEC.coop. Our technicians will be working through individual outages as quickly as possible.

UPDATE (7/12/24 @ 9:09 a.m.) All Wirehand Wireless towers have been reconnected EXCEPT for the HILLJE tower. This tower may take some time due to the damage from the storm at that location. Our technicians will be working systematically to repair individual locations. If you have not submitted a support ticket, please do so to help us in the restoration process.

The Wirehand Wireless Internet system will be experiencing outages due to damage from Hurricane Beryl. Restoration of the Wirehand network will begin after WCEC can restore power to all members. To give us a head start on repairs, please report any damage to your Wirehand Wireless equipment by submitting a support ticket from our Support Page.

Technicians are on-call on nights and weekends for major Internet outages. Our on-call dispatching service fields these calls for us. If a problem occurs outside of business hours, you may call the on-call service to leave a message or complete the IT SUPPORT CONTACT FORM below. A technician will contact you as soon as possible on the next business day. Please do not report issues on social media as these channels are not monitored for outages and it will go unreported.
